FAPA's own performing and competitive company. Dancers train together all year, compete as a group, and came home from Backstage Nationals 2026 with the top awards.

A company, not a team
PECO is for students who want more serious training and are interested in more than one kind of dance. Students study together as a group, not against each other, and learn good sportsmanship, poise and confidence along the way.

To join: Age 7+ with 2 consecutive years of ballet, tap and jazz training
For students looking for more serious training in dance who are dedicated to and interested in all of these forms. If accepted into company, specific classes are mandatory to enhance technique.
Summer classes are mandatory, and students compete in all three techniques. Competitions, workshops, performances and weekend rehearsals throughout the year are also part of the commitment.
To join: Age 7+ with 2 consecutive years of jazz or hip hop
Focuses on enhancing dance skills in hip hop, and competes only in a hip hop dance at competition. Specific dance classes are mandatory, as are summer classes.
To join: Age 7+ with a cartwheel and a split
Focuses on enhancing acrobatic skills: cartwheels, round-offs, splits, aerials and various other tricks. Specific dance classes are mandatory, as are summer classes, and students compete in an acro dance at competition.
This year we're looking to start a new, younger group.
Every company also needs various dance shoes, more expensive costumes and accessories. PECO is not only a time commitment, but a financial one as well.

What we ask of every PECO dancer and family.
A company, not a team
Students come together to study dance as a group, not to compete against each other. They learn good sportsmanship, poise and confidence, and must have a positive attitude. Parents are expected to observe and display the same behavior.
Serious training
Company is for students looking for more serious training. They must be dedicated to and interested in all forms of dance for PECO.
Experience
For PECO, students must have at least 2 consecutive years of dance experience within the past 2 years in ballet, tap and jazz. If accepted into company, specific classes are mandatory to enhance their technique.
Three hours a week, minimum
Company involves a minimum of 3 hours of designated technique classes weekly. Students must attend class every week, arrive on time, and be dressed in proper PECO attire, hair up in a bun, with PECO dance shoes, and observe the regulations required of a PECO student.
Summer is part of it
Summer classes are mandatory, with a minimum of 10 weeks.
A year-round commitment
Competitions, workshops, performances and weekend rehearsals throughout the year are part of the commitment. Various dance shoes, more expensive costumes and accessories are also needed. PECO is a personal commitment and a financial one as well.
